CXK have announce further grants for VCSE and small organisations available across the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP).

New grants of between £10,000 and £20,000 will shortly be available to third sector organisations of any size, and small organisations from other sectors, which support unemployed or inactive adults. This will be the second round of funding in Kent, Medway, Essex and Thurrock, awarded by the ESFA under their Community Grants Scheme via European Social Fund funding (ESF)

Across Kent, Medway, Essex and Thurrock the allocation of grants is being managed by CXK Ltd. The money is for organisations that help people progress into employment or learning and training. This may be through first contact engagement activities; projects which improve confidence, motivation and social integration such as sport, gardening, music or art; the development of local networks and groups to support people to get a job or access learning; or softer skills development.

The grants are particularly targeted towards organisations that help four key priority groups. This includes people over 50s, individuals with disabilities, people from ethnic minorities and females.

Applications will open on 2nd September 2019, closing on 30th September 2019.

If you wish to receive full details about the grants and how to access them please send your contact details to esfcommunitygrants@cxk.org, or visit cxk.org/community-grants
