Could you give a welcome, reassurance, and safety advice to travellers at Chelmsford Railway Station for the next 6 weeks?

We have a short term outdoor volunteering opportunity starting next week. Training, support, and official JourneyMakers ID  provided. If you can spare a couple of hours during the day Monday to Friday then please get in touch for more information.

Chelmsford Volunteering Centre

Chelmsford Volunteering Centre offers volunteering opportunities to local people (Find the latest opportunities below).

We offer a “drop-in” day every Wednesday from 10am till 12pm, then 1pm till 4pm where you can find out more about opportunities. We also bring our stand to various locations across the district, be sure to follow the Volunteer Centre on Twitter or Facebook to find out where we are!

Don't fancy formal volunteering?

Timebanking is volunteering with a twist! It’s a project that supports and encourages people to help each other and a great way to be part of your community by offering your time and skills to others.  You can also ask for some help yourself – perhaps you need help with your garden?  In turn, you may be able to offer someone else some help, perhaps becoming a telephone buddy to a housebound person.  Let’s help build a community where everyone is respected and regarded as an asset!
