Great Baddow Races - 22nd May - Race Marshals

The Great Baddow races are a hugely fun day out held for the benefit of local charities.  We need race marshals for their 40th Anniversary Race on Sunday 22nd May 2022.

Marshals are there to help guide runners along the correct route, give out water and medals, sign people in and out, and loudly cheer along !

Volunteer at RideLondon - Chelmsford- 29th May 2022

As an Events Volunteer at RideLondon-Essex, you will be supporting over 130 RideLondon – Essex participants who are raising vital funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK!

You will help us to:

–      Cheer on our runners

–      Give the runners a boast to help them complete their race

–      Raise vital awareness for Pancreatic Cancer UK by increasing our visibility

All you need to bring is your loudest cheering voice or biggest clap!

Event Volunteers - The Ideas Hub

The Ideas Hub in Chelmsford are building a bank of volunteers who are on standby to help out at cultural events, art shows, celebrations and parades in the City.

These would include:

  • Jan or Feb 23: Chelmsford Festival of Light
  • 11th Feb: Parade in Writtle as part of Ideas Hub’s school project
  • 3rd May: Chelmsford Fringe Festival
  • 3rd June- 3rd July: Chelmsford Carnival and festival
  • Jan or Feb 23: Chelmsford Festival of Light
  • And many more as the year progresses!

Your details will be added to an email list and the Hub will send you an when an opportunity comes available. There is no requirement for you to do any of the opportunities, should you wish to do one then all you need to do is respond and say what you want to do. As easy as that!
