Safer Chelmsford and Maldon District Community Safety Partnership are hosting a free PREVENT conference on Wednesday 4 May 2016 from 9:30am to 16:00pm at Anglia Ruskin University, Lecture Theatre, MAB221, Lord Ashcroft Building, Bishop Hall Lane, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1SQ.
The main aims of the event are to:
- Educate Community Safety Practitioners around the PREVENT agenda and wider Safeguarding issues
- Support mainstream voices in our faith communities and build a more cohesive community
- Showcase local education programmes
- Expanding existing knowledge around the PREVENT agenda
The day will consist of speakers and light refreshments including a networking lunch. Key speakers include:
