Mid Essex Mind IAPT STaR Service and Self-Referral Support and Information Clinics for 2015
Mid Essex Mind has been working in partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) as part of the national initiative to deliver Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) in Mid Essex.
The Mid Essex Mind Support Time & Recovery (STaR) Service has been designed to focus on local people living in communities in Mid Essex who are struggling to manage day to day problems and are experiencing anxiety, stress and depression as a consequence.
Drop in Mid Essex Mind STaR IAPT Self-Referral Support & Information Clinics will be run by non-judgmental, compassionate and motivated Mid Essex Mind STaR workers. The STaR workers will act as enablers, helping members of the public apply for much needed support from the IAPT service if they wish to do so. They will be able to discuss their needs with the STaR workers and will be told what to expect if they are successful following their self-referral to the IAPT service.
There is a Self-Referral Support and Information Clinic being held on the first Wednesday of every month at Open Road in Chelmsford. These clinics are there to help support and advise potential clients who may want to talk more about the IAPT service or receive help to fill out the self-referral form.
