What a brilliant day for our Community Development Bootcamp! During the course of the event we saw 57 people, and the buzz in the room during the Community Pow Wow session was incredible! Here’s some photographs and feedback from the day, thanks to everyone who came along, and watch this space for next steps evolving from the day!

“Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, and a thousand times more to you and the team. Those who missed it should weep.” – Ken Edwards

“A day well spent with real people who had made a difference, Thank you!”

“Inspirational, Thanks!”

“Great to connect with someone with experience in setting up a community garden.”

It was fantastic to see so many people wearing purple, at the Bootcamp, for MS awareness week ‪#‎purplepants‬. Pictured here are Linda and Wendy who said: “…what a really worthwhile and inspiring meeting. We have both come away intending to spread the word about the big lunch, street parties and street meets.
So thank you very much for having us and to have such a wonderful lunch was the icing on the cake.”Thank you to Maldon Shed for coming along to the event where they helped so many people to build bird boxes. Pictured here is Brian, who took the nest box that he built home and a week later sent us a message: “A Bluetit is nesting in it already. Tell the Shed people that they have saved a housing crisis we weren’t aware of existing in Bluetit world.”
