
Who are we?
Chelmsford Garden Community Council is the Parish Council for the new area of the Chelmsford Garden Community covering the existing areas of Beaulieu Park, New Beaulieu, Channels in addition to the neighbourhoods that are being built across the Garden Community area.
What’s the job?
For this exciting opportunity, the Council is looking for someone to organise events and to enhance the profile of the Council by use of social media, the website and written media. Also, you will be engaging with Councillors, local groups and organisations in our area.
What skills will you have?
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has knowledge and/or experience in organising events, can produce engaging content for the social media channels and website and is confident is speaking to people in the community to work together and spread the message of what is on offer from the Council. You will be able to organise and manage your own time and work well with others.
What’s the package?
Salary of £33,699.00 which is negotiable depending on experience, for a 37-hour week. You will have the benefit of joining the Local Government Pension scheme, a generous holiday allowance and time off in lieu provisions. You will split your time between working from home and attending meetings within the Parish.
