Chelmsford CVS Project Manager, Sally Medd said:
“VolFEST is one of the most uplifting days in Chelmsford’s calendar. Every year, our local charities and volunteers bring such energy and generosity to the High Street, and it’s wonderful to see the community come together in that way.
One of the great things about VolFEST is seeing people discover volunteering opportunities they never knew existed, as well as support they didn’t know they could access. Many visitors arrive thinking they don’t have enough time or experience to volunteer, but quickly realise there are so many flexible and interesting ways to get involved.”
