Chelmsford City Council has published the Chelmsford Local Plan Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report and the Non-Technical Summary for consultation. The consultation runs until 11 September 2015.
The Sustainability Appraisal (SA) will appraise the environmental, economic and social effects of a Local Plan from the beginning of the preparation process to improve its contribution towards sustainability. The SA Scoping Report sets out the scope of what will be included within the Sustainability Appraisal of the Chelmsford Local Plan. Chelmsford City Council would welcome your views on any aspect of the SA Scoping Report and the Non-Technical Summary both of which are available to view and comment on via the City Council’s consultation portal at: http://consult.chelmsford.gov.uk/portal. You will be asked to Login or Register before being able to comment but you can read the documents without registering. Paper copies are also available for inspection at libraries within and adjoining the City Area and the City Council’s main offices.
