Funding Officer | £30,000 per annum | 35 Hours
Thurrock CVS have an exciting opportunity for a new role of Funding Officer in their team. They are seeking a Trusts, Grants and events Fundraising Officer, to support Thurrock CVS in maximising revenue to support the work of the voluntary sector, especially in its support for achieving stronger communities and supporting the delivery of Thurrock’s Health and Well-Being strategy.
Applications are invited from individuals with solid experience of working in fundraising including the preparation of funding applications for trusts, foundations or businesses and expertise of generating unrestricted income through fundraising events. They would expect applicants to be educated to degree level or equivalent.
The post-holder will add value to the organisation’s existing work consolidating and bringing a high-quality approach to existing relationships and income streams, whilst bringing drive and energy to develop new opportunities.
Thurrock CVS are looking for someone who will think creatively and take a proactive approach to seeking potential funding from a range of sources. As a small organisation, they also need someone who has a ‘can do’ attitude and who will be flexible in performing a range of duties as and when they arise. You must be a self-starter, happy to manage your workload and drive forward this work without constant supervision.
Thurrock CVS are looking for someone who can demonstrate significant experience of working, researching, developing and writing successful applications. You will have experience of working with management teams to develop excellent project proposals that get funded.
The post would suit an experienced Funding Officer with a drive and passion for success.
35 hours per week
Annual leave: 25 days + all bank holidays
