Please find below links to a consultation on NHS services that Enable East has been independently commissioned to run on behalf of Mid Essex Clinical Commissioning Group.

Mid Essex CCG spends approx. £420m a year to help the local population stay well. However, the CCG has a financial deficit and needs to make £15.7 million savings this year. The CCG Board has thought about how and where it can reduce NHS spending. As part of this process, the CCG wants to consult with you and gather your ideas and views before making any decisions.

There are four areas where proposed changes could happen. These are:

– Prescriptions for gluten-free foods
– Hearing aids for mild hearing loss
– Vasectomy and female sterilisation
– GP-accessed physiotherapy
