lgbt-participation-survey-250615Essex County Football Association are committed to making football accessible to all, and the cooperation of players, clubs, referees, coaches, administrators and volunteers is sought in completing a new survey to gather information which will help ensure everyone in grassroots football is treated fairly.

The survey aims to identify the barriers and motivation for football from Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGB&T) participants, and the most effective ways to address them. It also tries to identify how to engage with LGB&T participants more effectively in order to drive a long term strategy to increase LGB&T football involvement across Essex.

The survey is anonymous – it doesn’t ask for any personal details so nobody will be able to attribute answers to an individual. It will take approximately ten minutes to complete and respondents must be aged 16 or over to participate.
