Honour Based Abuse Training
This half day course is aimed at professionals who come into contact or might come into contact with a potential victim or survivor of Honour Based Abuse and/or Forced Marriage.
By the end of this course you will:
- Understand the terminology used i.e. ‘honour’ based abuse and forced marriage
- Discuss risk factors associated with ‘honour’ based abuse and forced marriage
- Understand differences between arranged and forced marriage,
- Understand the legislation in relation to ‘honour’ based abuse and forced marriage
- Reinforce the ‘One Chance Rule’,
- Understand your roles and responsibilities in relation to ‘honour’ based abuse and forced marriage, including how to respond to cases.

Female Genital Mutilation Training
This course is aimed at frontline professionals who have or will come into contact with victims or potential victims of FGM.
By the end of this course you will:

- Understand the background to female genital mutilation
- Discuss indicators for those that may be at risk
- Understand the legislation in relation female genital mutilation
