It was great to see so many old friends, new members and supporters at our recent Annual Charity Update event. We were joined by almost 100 delegates and a hearing dog called Rusty! Thank you for joining us to give Pauline a good send off after almost 19 years of working to recruit and support volunteers and volunteering organisations in Chelmsford.
Thanks go to Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) for hosting the event this year and to Rachel Brooks (no relation to our Peter here at the CVS!) for the gentle background music.

This year we tried a different time and format for our event and we’ll be sending out an online survey shortly asking you how you’d like our next event to be designed. Please do respond to the survey so that we can continue to offer events and other opportunities that are of benefit to you.
