The Centre Supporting Voluntary Action hosts regular networking and information events where members can hear from and meet with a variety of  experts. The events are intentionally informal and a good opportunity to meet with others working and volunteering in the local community. Members will automatically receive invitations to these events.

At the end of September 2013, we invited our members, stakeholders and others who had supported us through the refurbishment and move to the new Centre to ‘Come for Cake’ and a look around. We were delighted when 73 people took up the invitation! The new meeting room was full to bursting with cakes and a great crowd; thanks to all for supporting the event. The Mayor of Chelmsford and Deputy Leader of the City Council, Cllr John Galley kindly performed the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.
