Volunteer and Make a Difference

Volunteer Essex

Chelmsford Volunteering Centre is a project hosted by Centre Supporting Voluntary Action, based at Burgess Well House, Coval Lane, Chelmsford CM1 1FW. We provide volunteering opportunities to those living across the Chelmsford district. Be sure to follow the Volunteer Centre on Twitter.

If you would like to find out more, we offer a “drop-in” day every Wednesday from 10am till 12pm, then 1pm till 4pm. We can also be found in Chelmsford Central Library on Tuesdays between 10am and 1pm on a fortnightly basis. On the second Monday of each month we can be found in the reception area of Chelmsford City Council offices between 10am and 1pm. Also look out for us in High Chelmer and The Meadows Shopping Centres where we have displays from time to time. Alternatively you can call us on 01245 250731 for an appointment.

You may wish to register and apply for local volunteering opportunities on the new Volunteer Essex website, where you can find out more information about Volunteering and apply for opportunities online.
