Love Essex is an umbrella brand that acts on behalf of the Essex Waste Partnership and The Cleaner Essex Group to encourage residents to reduce, reuse and recycle their rubbish as best as possible. We want to help make Essex a great place to grow, live and work by securing sustainable development and protecting the environment.
The Love Essex Fund offers grants of up to £500 for inspiring projects seeking to reduce waste. The fund is aimed at projects which consider the waste hierarchy; those projects which aim to reduce waste from being created will be prioritised over projects which aim to recycle. The projects can centre around a variety of different topics, including zero-waste shops, educational activities or a community fridge to name a few examples.

In addition to the fund, we’ve created a new Facebook group titled ‘Essex Eco Groups – Admin’. The aim of this group is to link together all the fantastic groups and projects working in Essex to raise environmental awareness and reduce waste, so we can share ideas and support each other.
