Reoffending has a significant impact on the public – both on victims of crime directly and on public confidence and feelings of safety. It also has an impact on public sector services, drawing heavily on resources.  There is no single agency response to the issue and, as a result, agencies must work together to develop shared solutions.

Essex Reducing Reoffending Board is seeking to work with a wide range of partners and stakeholders from across Essex, Southend and Thurrock to develop a Reducing Reoffending strategy. This will enable partners to have a shared response to tackle reoffending.

The Board will be holding a Reducing Reoffending Strategy workshop on Friday 3 June 2016 from 9.30am – 2pm at Chelmsford City Racecourse, Chelmsford, CM3 1QP and would like to invite you or a representative from your agency to attend.

Please view the agenda for the Reducing Reoffending Workshop, along with a short ‘workshop map’ to be completed in advance, as will as a location map.
