Are you a small volunteer led organisation with an annual income of less than £25,000? Do you have an interest in delivering projects in Braintree, Chelmsford or Maldon that will benefit the health and wellbeing of your community? Essex County Council value the contribution that the voluntary and community sector make to improving the lives of the county’s population and are committed to ensuring that resources are available to support this. ECC has worked with Essex CVSs to introduce an additional grant making programme specifically designed to encourage small volunteer led community groups to access funding for projects that will improve the lives of local people and help build community resilience. Funding up to a maximum of £1,000 is available for projects that can demonstrate clear links to ECC’s strategic priorities and can evidence impact by June 2016. Closing date 2 November 2015.
